"A unique trip to the Maldives"
With renowned marine biologist Charles Anderson, we head out to the open sea to look for marine mammals. In the morning and evening there is a snorkeling tour. On request, one or the other dive can also be included. The route depends on the weather conditions. In the evenings there will be in-depth naturalist lectures. This trip focuses on snorkeling and is a research trip. Please bring your own binoculars. Early registration is advised as these trips are in high demand. We have been working with Charles for over a decade now and look forward to more trips with him.
Our Boat
You will stay on our boat, in comfortable double cabins with air conditioning, en suite bathroom and sea view. For the physical well-being, two chefs provide us in the morning, at noon and in the evening a buffet of freshly prepared dishes. You can expect an authentic, fresh cuisine of the Indian subcontinent as well as alternating Continental Classics. Fish can be eaten in the Maldives with a clear conscience, as it is caught without nets and by-catch. Furthermore, you will always find a vegan dish at the buffet and we are happy to consider special requests. At the bar, Mr. Barman provides us with freshly squeezed fruit juices, soft drinks, draught beer, wine and other spirits.

The focus of this cruise is to discover marine mammals of all kinds. Over twenty species of dolphins can be seen in and around the atolls of the Maldives. Sightings with pilot, blue, killer and beaked whales are not uncommon. The trip led by Dr. Charles Anderson is a research trip, data and photo ID's are collected. For more than 30 years now, Charles has been processing these into his scientific papers. In the evenings there are lectures and discussions.
This trip is all about observing and, if so, slowly approaching the marine mammals. The program includes snorkeling in the morning and afternoon. We spend the rest of the day outside the atolls.
In the evening there are lectures by Dr. Anderson He is happy to answer our questions and discuss things with us.

Your partner is not necessarily a water lover? In addition to a generous amount of space, we can also arrange an alternative program for non-divers.
What activities? You can go canoeing, spend the afternoon on the beach, snorkel, visit islands - we can think of enough programs.
