On this tour with expedition character, we dive at few and unknown dive sites in the lonely north of the Maldives. This tour is especially suitable for all explorers and those who have already been on board with us several times.
The "less dived tour" takes us in 10 days from Malé to the northern end of the Maldives, the Haa Alifu Atoll and back again. There or back you go by domestic flight, or you join another tour which brings you back to Malé. In the North Malé Atoll we dive underestimated reefs and famous manta sites. In the neighboring Lhaviyani Atoll there are channels rich in fish, like the Kureddu Express with sharks and eagle rays. At the thilas of the Baa Atolls the diving is relatively relaxed. Encounters with manta rays are very likely here. With a little luck, a highlight is snorkeling (since diving is no longer allowed) in Hanifaru Bay with literally hundreds of manta rays. The now world famous bay has been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2011 and the number of snorkelers is limited to 80 people. When conditions are good, sometimes as many as 200 manta rays gather in the bay for plankton filtering and socializing. Optimal conditions, however, are reserved for a few. We dive with excitement in Raa, Noonu and Shaviyani Atoll - only a few boats find their way here. In the very north, in Haa Alif, we follow regional tips of the islanders and thus search for undived, fish-rich places.
Our Boat
You will stay on our boat, in comfortable double cabins with air conditioning, en suite bathroom and sea view. For the physical well-being, two chefs provide us in the morning, at noon and in the evening a buffet of freshly prepared dishes. You can expect an authentic, fresh cuisine of the Indian subcontinent as well as alternating Continental Classics. Fish can be eaten in the Maldives with a clear conscience, as it is caught without nets and by-catch. Furthermore, you will always find a vegan dish at the buffet and we are happy to consider special requests. At the bar, Mr. Barman provides us with freshly squeezed fruit juices, soft drinks, draught beer, wine and other spirits.

Island excursions. Canoeing.
The focus of this cruise is to discover less dived and actually still undived places of the Maldives. However, we do not forgo big fish encounters with sharks, turtles, manta rays and maybe even whale sharks.
During the day we go diving or snorkeling 2-3 times. If our boat is not cruising, the area can be explored with the canoes. The program includes diving, looking for marine mammals, excursions to sandbanks and visits to inhabited and uninhabited islands. Of course we would like to take the chance to dive a few places that seem interesting to us.
In the evening we sit at the bar and watch small and large animals in the rear headlights. We are also happy to take you with us for night fishing.
Beginner courses are not planned for this tour - Nitrox certification is not a problem. Advanced courses are possible, but please arrange this with the cruise manager of this tour beforehand.
